Head
- Sun/Rain hat
- Mosquito head net
- 1 Wool or fleece hat (needs to cover ears)
- Sunglasses with straps
Upper Body
- 1 Synthetic T-Shirt
- 1 pair fleece gloves
- 2 long- sleeved polypro shirts, light- medium weight
- 1 heavy fleece or synthetic/down insulated jacket
- 1 Breathable shell-jacket 100% waterproof and hooded
Lower Body
- 1 pair of long underwear (no cotton!)
- 2 pairs of pants (1 comfortable light nylon and 1 heavy
weight fleece)
- 1 Breathable 100% waterproof pair of pants
- 1 pair of shorts (quick dry)
- 1 pair camp shoes- sneakers or crocs
- 3 Pairs of smart wool or other synthetic socks. (No
Cotton!)
- 1-2 pairs thin synthetic/silk under socks.
- 1 Pair of comfortable hiking boots (previously
broken in).
Camping Gear
- Personal tent-minimum three season sturdy and waterproof
- Sleeping bag-capable of 0-20 degrees F
- Sleeping pad
Miscellaneous
- Wide mouth water bottle or hydration pack
- Bandanas (1-2)
- Zip lock bags or similar
- Small flashlight (Headlamp)
- A personal Kit Containing the following:
- Anti-bacterial hand gel
- Small amount of Advil or similar
- Band-Aids/tape
- A small bag of tissues
- Mole Skin
- Chapstick
- Insect repellent-small bottl
- Toiletries including personal medications and tampons
- Assorted Waterproof stuff sacks or trash compactor bags
- Backpack high:quality brand internal frame pack
- Pack rain cover
Optional Items
- Camera
- Binoculars (small/lightweight)
- 1 pair of sandals or Crocs (in place of sneakers)
